A mother-of-three has been accused of slashing the throats of her children, leaving just one alive following an attack. Kailey Erhart allegedly went on a stabbing frenzy in her North Dakota home on August 6, where she was said to have chased her husband and the children's grandmother out of the house. Authorities tragically announced that her three-year-old and five-month-old daughters died from their injuries. The 22-year-old's one-year-old son survived following a number of miraculous surgeries, but his exact condition remains unknown. Officers described seeing a blood-soaked mom once they arrived to the property, with the mom in the kitchen holding a knife to her throat. She then begged for them to kill her, according to investigators via an affidavit, according to Valley News Live . He stated: “A scene like that is something that nobody should ever have to see, and the way [the officers] came through in one of the most horrific times that they’ll probably experience in their life, I’m proud, “I want to acknowledge this is an extreme, tragic and heartbreaking incident for the children involved, their families, our community and first responders who arrived on scene.” Police found the three young children unresponsive on the floor in a bedroom, with wounds to their necks. Kailey Erhart's chilling final message to husband The father of the children, who was in the process of divorcing Erhart, was at home with the children and their grandmother before she chased them out with a knife, locking the door behind them. He told authorities that prior to being chased out, he took a firearm off her, which caused the mom to bite and scratch him. Reportedly, he disassembled the weapon and scattered the pieces to stop the children from being harmed by it. According to the affidavit, a chilling video on his phone prior to the incident showed her carrying one of the kids while holding a pistol at her hip, telling her estranged husband: "Say goodbye to your children." The father had reported threats to harm himself and the children in the past, leading to Erhart being placed in a mental health facility within the last 12 to 18 months. She was given medication and was discharged, with Erhart also allowed to be with her children when the attack took place, as the affadacit notes that the CPS was aware of the previous threats. Authorities announced that her three-year-old and five-month-old daughters died from their injuries, while her one-year-old son miraculously survived. Erhart's bond was set at $3 million cash, with the judge explaining that this is due to 'the extreme violence in these alleged charges and the threat to the community, victims, and children.' Additionally, she has been blocked from contacting surviving victims or family members - she has not yet entered a plea. When questioned by police, she said she put the children to bed and believed their throats were slashed before then. Erhart claimed that she didn't remember what happened, but that there was a knife in her hands when police arrived. The children's paternal grandmother, Melissa, has since set up a GoFundMe page to support her son and surviving grandchild. She explained: “He is a father trying to survive something no parent should ever have to face, “I lost two precious souls in a devastating tragedy… and the pain is more than I can put into words.” “Right now, our focus has to be on caring for this child and making it through each day while grieving such heartbreaking loss,” she said. The mom is due in court for a preliminary hearing and arraignment on October 6. More than 200 deaths have been reported to health regulators as potentially linked to popular weight-loss injections, according to newly released figures, with one brand of the drug being more lethal than others. The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has also received reports of more than 158,000 suspected adverse reactions involving the medications, which have surged in popularity in recent years. However, the regulator stresses that reports do not prove a medicine caused a reaction or death - only that there is a suspicion of a possible link. The regulator said it continues to monitor the safety of GLP-1 medications, including reviewing scientific research and reports submitted by patients and healthcare professionals. "As with all medicines, the safety of GLP-1s is kept under continual review, including emerging evidence from spontaneous data and scientific publications," the MHRA said. It added that any new safety concerns would be communicated quickly. "Any potential updates regarding the safety of these medicines would be promptly communicated to patients and healthcare professionals, and appropriate steps taken to mitigate any identified risk," the spokesperson said. The MHRA concluded that, based on current evidence, the benefits of the medications remain greater than the potential risks when they are prescribed and used correctly. "On the basis of the current evidence, the benefits of GLP-1 receptor agonists outweigh the potential risks when used in line with their authorised uses," the regulator said. A total of 106,189 suspected adverse reactions, including gastrointestinal issues, have been reported for tirzepatide, alongside 120 deaths. Meanwhile, semaglutide, the active ingredient in weight-loss injection Wegovy and diabetes medications Ozempic and Rybelsus, has been associated with 48,089 reported adverse reactions and 59 suspected deaths. Another weight-loss medication, liraglutide, which is sold as Saxenda and is also used in some diabetes treatments, has been linked to 4,491 suspected adverse reactions and 37 reported deaths. The MHRA emphasised that the figures should be viewed in context, explaining that a report submitted through the Yellow Card system does not confirm that a medicine was responsible. An MHRA spokesperson said: "It is important to place these reports in the context of the millions of GLP-1 prescriptions issued in the UK." They added that the number of reports can be affected by factors including increased use of the drugs and greater awareness of possible side effects. Convicted drunk driver Jamie Komoroski urged South Carolina cops to check on the bride that she killed after plowing into her golf cart minutes after her wedding reception, according to newly released police bodycam footage.Komoroski, then 25, claimed that she “didn’t do anything wrong” as she sat roadside following the crash that saw 34-year-old newlywed Samantha Hutchinson pronounced dead in Folly Beach, SC in April 2023, WCSC reported.Komoroski was traveling behind the wheel of her Toyota rental car at 65 mph when she smashed into the back of Hutchinson’s golf cart. “Is she okay?” Komoroski asked bystanders about Hutchinson, according to a clip which the outlet released.Komoroski then yelped, “Go check on her,” while an officer surveyed the wreckage. Komoroski’s car airbag was deployed and smoke was seen billowing into the air.Jamie Komoroski was hysterical by the roadside following the April 2023 smash. After launching a search party, David Thalman's body was found at 10:55AM on Monday morning following his disappearance on Saturday, with his girlfriend Warick's body also recovered a short time later. The deaths were classified as drowning by the local sheriff's office, although the incident is still under investigation by authorities, and officials have yet to release an official cause or manner of the couple's deaths. Thalman, who skipped college after high school to start a career in real estate, was noted for his "warmth and gentle strength." Warick, a competitive cheerleader, was studying to become an esthetician who "above all else [...] loved her parents with all her heart." Jane Lee, Thalman's boss at RE/MAX, revealed that the couple had been staying at his family's home on Washington Island when the tragedy occurred. Why is Washington Island known as 'Death's Door?' World's Smartest Man Reveals Surprising Answer to the God Question

Chris Langan, the American intellectual frequently described as the “smartest man in the world”, has weighed in on one of humanity’s oldest questions: does God exist? Langan’s IQ has been reported as falling somewhere between 190 and 210, placing him above the estimated scores of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. But rather than working in a major research institution or tech company, Langan leads a quiet life as a horse rancher, while developing theories that attempt to explain the nature of existence itself. Inside Langan’s Theory Linking Mind, Reality and Existence Langan is best known for his "cognitive-theoretic model of the universe" (CTMU), a sweeping philosophical and mathematical framework aimed at explaining how consciousness and reality relate to one another. The theory argues that the universe and the mind are interwoven in a self-processing, self-defining structure – an idea that, while controversial and unproven, has attracted intrigue from those interested in metaphysics and theoretical philosophy. During a conversation on CTMU Radio , Langan discussed several aspects of his work, including his views on what happens after death. But one moment that captured particular attention was his response to a direct question about the existence of God. Langan Says the Structure of Reality Points to a Divine Identity Unlike many prominent scientists who identify as atheists, Langan’s answer was unambiguous. When asked if God is real, he replied: “Yes. Yes, reality has an identity. The identity is that as which something exists.” He added that referring to “reality” itself is already an act of naming an identity, one that, in his framework, aligns with how many religions describe God. In an earlier appearance on the Theories of Everything with Curt Jaimungal podcast, he shared his interpretation of what happens after death. According to Langan, death marks the end of a person’s relationship with their physical body, but not the end of consciousness. “When you are retracted from this reality, you go back up toward the origin of reality,” he said, suggesting that an individual could be provided with a different kind of “terminal body” that allows continued existence. He also proposed the idea that reincarnations may be “meta-simultaneous,” meaning that if a person experiences multiple lifetimes, they may unfold at once in a non-physical domain. The video walks through early primary polling, betting market odds, and state-by-state projections before revealing the final map. As the host explains: “In this video, I asked Grok AI to predict the 2028 presidential election and give us a map forecast.” Democratic and Republican primary outlooks take shape On the Democratic side, Harris leads early primary polling with 32 percent support, putting her ahead of California Governor Gavin Newsom, who trails at 23.8 percent. Pete Buttigieg sits in a distant third at just under 10 percent, followed by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. The host notes that Harris’s resurgence may surprise some observers, given that 'many people did write Kla Harris off following her 2024 election defeat.' The likely category, defined as margins between 5 and 15 points, further expands Vance’s advantage. He is projected to win Iowa, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Alaska, and Maine’s second district. Florida and Texas are described as firmly red after large Republican gains in recent cycles. In Arizona, which Trump carried by 5.5 percent in 2024, Grok projects Vance maintaining a similar margin. With solid and likely states counted, Vance reaches 246 electoral votes, just 24 shy of the 270 needed to win. Harris’s likely states include Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, New York, Maine statewide, Rhode Island, and Virginia. Illinois and New York are highlighted as warning signs for Democrats after narrower margins in 2024. Georgia, long competitive, is also forecast to remain narrowly red. The three upper Midwestern states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania are projected to move together once again.
