Clenney and her boyfriend moved to Miami at the beginning of 2022, with staff and residents at the One Paraiso building, where they lived, filing several domestic disturbance complaints about the couple. Some had even moved to evict the couple from the premises. Police reports reveal that officers arrived at the residence at around 5 PM on April 3, 2022, following a call about an aggravated battery when the stabbing incident took place. The influencer was seen and later pictured wearing a blood-soaked robe and sweatpants. Obumseli was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the torso, but he would sadly be pronounced dead on arrival. Clenney first claimed self-defence to investigators, but she would ultimately be charged with his murder months on, while she was attending a rehab centre in Hawaii.
