Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro Caught in Shocking Celebrity Data Leak

Numerous Hollywood A-listers have seen their personal details made public in a colossal data breach, according to reports. It has been reported that numerous phone numbers and email addresses belonging to celebrities had been made public in what experts are calling"the biggest collection of celebrity data" they've ever seen. Speaking to The Sun , cybersecurity expert Jeremiah Fowler claimed that this data was made accessible online. Apparently, he discovered the leak, with the data originating from 666,369 files relating to the Tribeca Film Festival. The annual event was launched in 2002 by Robert De Niro alongside Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff to help boost the culture and economy of Lower Manhattan after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Fowler has claimed that he has seen both De Niro's and Angelina Jolie's information, in addition to other titans of the industry. In addition to those mentioned, directors Martin Scorsese, Danny Boyle and George Lucas have reportedly been exposed by the leak. Actors have also fallen victim, with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Michael Douglas, Rami Malek and Sharon Stone reportedly suffering. Fowler has explained that the big names may now have been exposed to online thieves and fraudsters as a result of the leaks. The cybersecurity professional, who is also a researcher at US company Black Hills Information Security, told the publication: "There were many, many household names in the records who could have been targeted with ­malware. There were names, phone numbers and email addresses." He says that the leak was likely due to human error, reaching out to the festival's organizers after finding the breach, which was before Tribeca began in New York in June. These databases were swiftly removed from the public domain, but it remains unknown howlong they were live for. Fowler says that he was sent an email early last month from a legal executive at Tribeca Enterprises, who said they were "actively investigating" the breach. The expert recalled: "They responded pretty quickly, so it was obvious they knew what it was and that it shouldn’t have been there, "It’s really unique because these ­individuals are so guarded and they protect their personal privacy, their contacts, their phone numbers." But Fowler has reason to believe that private details were leaked, claiming that he saw many email addresses using domains such as Gmail and Yahoo, instead of company-specific ones. He explained that hackers could impersonate celebrities with such information, potentially sending malware to their loved once, but that this hasn't happened. Fowler explained in a blog post : “Usually, when something has been exposed for a long period of time, you’ll see evidence of ransomware, or criminals will put in an automated ransomware note. “I didn’t see anything like that.
