YouTuber's Heartbreaking Dilemma: Why He's Considering the Unthinkable New

YouTuber's Heartbreaking Dilemma: Why He's Considering the Unthinkable

Popular YouTuber Max Gilardi, better known as Hotdiggedydemon, opened up about considering euthanasia to end his life. The 38-year-old, who amassed a following with his animated videos parodying popular franchises such as Five Nights at Freddy’s and My Little Pony, has over 2 million subscribers. He bravely opened up about the health and financial difficulties he has been facing, which made him consider assisted dying. Gilardi explained on a livestream Saturday: "After considering every option I could think of, ultimately that solution has taken the form of doctor-assisted euthanasia." He revealed that he'd been facing a series of health issues which began with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia in 2024, a long-term medical condition that causes widespread pain throughout the body, extreme tiredness, and sleep problems. The condition had slowed down his ability to produce videos and affected his quality of life as he explained: "I’m tired all the time. I spend a lot of my time lying down. 'I get a lot of bad pain in all my joints and my muscles, ankles, shins, hands, knees, hips, neck. I have a lot of difficulty sleeping." Gilardi revealed that he also has other symptoms, such as sudden drooling and difficulty with his speech, which the doctors have yet to explain. Max Gilardi, aka Hotdiggedydemon, opened up to fans about his heath struggles. Credit: Wiki Media Commons He admitted that the rising cost of his medical bills was also taking a toll, adding: "There’s nothing more expensive than living." The animator revealed that it took a long deliberation to decide to potentially pursue euthanasia, which he believes would be a "natural conclusion". He added: "My existence has become one where I suffer and barely scrape by so I can continue to sustain an existence where I barely scrape by and suffer." He revealed he was planning to travel to Switzerland to end his life, mistakenly telling his followers that euthanasia is legal in the country. While assisted dying - where the patient administers the lethal drugs to themselves under the supervision of medical professionals - is legal in Switzerland, euthanasia - where the drugs are administered by a doctor or nurse rather than the patient themselves - is not. His followers shared their sympathies on social media, writing: "I’m gonna be straight up when I say this but Max Gilardi is singlehandedly the coolest guy on the Internet and watching him go out like this feels like a sharp pain in the heart. I really do wish him the best and can get the help he needs. we love you buddy." Another added: "Oh max gilardi. You are the best youtuber. I do wish things can get better, and if your disease can get better on its own, that would be great. Hope a miracle happens man, we need you." Someone else commented: "Listening to his stream, And before earlier, I genuinely didn't understand the comments but hearing what he was saying. I understand more. Actually very tearful. Max G Is genuinely Actually someone I would say in example of someone changing and being a better person." Following the response, Gilardi later added on X (formerly Twitter): "Decided I’m not thinking clearly, will reassess." If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Donald Trump's Golf Victory Sparks Fresh Cheating Allegations New

Donald Trump's Golf Victory Sparks Fresh Cheating Allegations

Donald Trump has found himself at the center of accusations over his honesty on the golf course after sharing a video that he labelled as the winning shot from his latest club championship victory. The US president posted footage on Truth Social of what he said was his 'winning shot' in both the senior and super senior divisions of the club championship at Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster. Alongside the post, Trump wrote: “I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practice, because I’m focused on many other things. "It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!” Donald Trump owns golf courses across the world. Credit: ANDY BUCHANAN/AFP via Getty Images The post urged critics to find old evidence of Trump cheating The post quickly sparked outrage online, with critics digging up old allegations that Trump has exaggerated his golfing achievements and benefited from favorable rulings during competitions hosted at his own courses. According to his social media post, Trump won the Super Senior Men’s Club Championship , which is generally the category for men 65 years and older, as well as the Senior Men’s Club Championship, which is typically for men 50 years and older. Last year he also won the senior men’s competition. In 2023, he also won both Senior and Super Senior championships and announced it in a Truth Social post, saying: “For some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete - I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honor!” Social media users questioned the legitimacy of the latest victory, with some pointing to Trump's decades-long reputation for allegedly bending golf's rules. However, the President long used the tournaments to praise his own golfing ability while belittling his competitors. Trump's granddaughter Kai Trump is a professional golfer. Credit: Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images Trump's alleged cheating is so famous that a book has been written about it Sportswriter Rick Reilly, author of an entire book on Trump’s cheating, Commander in Cheat , has repeatedly accused Trump of breaking golf rules, inflating scores and claiming tournament victories under questionable circumstances. Trump has obviously vehemently denied the allegations. In the book, Reilly claimed: “At Winged Foot, where Trump is a member, the caddies got so used to seeing him kick his ball back onto the fairway they came up with a nickname for him: Pele.” LPGA player Suzann Pettersen was reported saying the president 'cheats like hell' in 2018, while actor Samuel L. Jackson accused the president of cheating at golf in 2016. Unsurprisingly, questions around the number of championships Trump claims to have won have recirculated online. Following his latest success, Trump suggested the victory marked his 43rd club championship, although that figure has been disputed by critics and golf commentators. Sarah Paulson's Powerful Response to Critics of Her Love Life New

Sarah Paulson's Powerful Response to Critics of Her Love Life

Sarah Paulson has vehemently defended her relationship with long-term partner Holland Taylor, now 83, against people who criticize the couple's significant age difference. The 51-year-old Emmy-winning actress has repeatedly addressed the public fascination with their romance, insisting that love should never be judged by age. Paulson and Taylor have been together since 2015, becoming one of Hollywood's most enduring couples. Over the years, their relationship has attracted a huge amount of public attention because of the more than 30-year age gap between them. Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor started dating in 2015. Credit: Kevin Winter/GA / Getty Speaking to Harper's Bazaar , Paulson made it clear that she has little patience for people who speak negatively about their relationship. She passionately defended Taylor, saying she becomes fiercely protective whenever anyone makes cruel remarks about her 11-year relationship. Paulson believes people have an issue with her relationship because of anxieties around aging The actress believes much of the criticism stems from society's discomfort around aging, saying: "Our own ageist thinking and the idea that to be old is to cease to have any desire." Defending her partner, Paulson added: “Anybody says anything about any person I love in a way that is disrespectful or cruel and I want to cut a b***h." According to the Goldfinch star, many people struggle with the idea that older adults can still experience romance, passion, and fulfilling relationships. Despite the occasional negativity, Paulson has said that the overwhelming response to her relationship has been positive. She acknowledged that being in the public eye can make personal relationships feel like public property, but she has remained committed to living life on her own terms rather than according to other people's expectations. The couple's age gap is almost 30 years. Credit: Amy Sussman / Getty Paulson has very publicly defended her partner In an interview with The New York Times , the actress explained: “My choices in romantic partners have not been conventional, and therefore the idea that it is 'other' makes it compelling.” Paulson added: “If my life choices had to be predicated based on what was expected of me from a community on either side, that’s going to make me feel really straitjacketed, and I don’t want to feel that. “What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor.” More than a decade after they first went public, Paulson and Taylor continue to challenge stereotypes surrounding age-gap relationships . Their willingness to speak openly about ageism has resonated with many fans, helping to spark wider conversations about outdated attitudes toward aging and romance. Inside the Empty Daycare Scandal: How Flushing Became New York's Fraud Capital New

Inside the Empty Daycare Scandal: How Flushing Became New York's Fraud Capital

The vibrant, east Asian immigrant enclave of Flushing may be New York’s medical fraud capital.A one-mile radius of the neighborhood boasts 77 Social Adult Daycares (SADCs), which bill Medicaid over $100 million a year, accounting for 14 percent of all daycare spending in the state, a Post investigation reveals. When The Post visited some of largest — which are private businesses that have claimed between $20 and 40 million from Medicaid over the last six years — many storefronts were shuttered, and those that were open had empty rooms with no patients.A worker at Livingwell Day Care in Flushing chased a reporter and cameraman out of the facility and threatened to call the police for asking questions about the empty facility having 26,500 patients. Matthew McDermott for NY PostOn a Wednesday afternoon, Livingwell Day Care was completely empty. The facility has billed tens of millions of dollars from Medicaid, according to HHS data. Matthew McDermott for NY PostAt Livingwell Day Care on Northern Boulevard, lights were dimmed over rows of empty tables in a mess hall near the entrance. No seniors appeared to be inside, but Livingwell billed Medicaid $27 million from 2018-2024 and had over 26,500 patients, according to federal data.A man at the front desk refused to answer questions, chased a reporter and cameraman out and threatened to call police. The facility has not been implicated in any crimes.A woman who identified herself as Wendy, a care worker at Bao Kang Adult Day Care on Blossom Avenue, told The Post she has one or two hundred patients a day, but said “I don’t know” when asked about the $32 million billed to Medicaid for serving 43,900 unique patients during the same years.Wendy denied The Post a tour, but a security monitor behind her desk displaying common areas showed every single one was empty.Livingwell Adult Day Care on Northern Boulevard was dark and empty during a recent midday visit. The facility has billed Medicaid $27.5 million from 2018-2024 and had over 26,500 patients. Matthew McDermott for NY PostA worker at Merry Adult Day Care asked The Post to leave when questioned about the facility’s 31,500 patients and $25 million in Medicaid reimbursements. Matthew McDermott for NY PostSince The Post’s initial expose on New York’s SADC abuse in January and a federal bust in February saw two men charged with ripping off $120 million over 10 years from Medicaid using two SADCs they owned, workers have been on high alert. Entrances are locked during business hours, while windows are covered in perforated vinyl wrap.At Merry Adult Day Care on 35th Avenue — which billed $25M from 31,500 patients during the six-year period — a masked worker poked her head out of the door, wouldn’t answer any questions and asked The Post to leave. Kang Hua on Main Street billed $22 million for 25,800 unique patients; Greater New York Social and Health on Maple Avenue billed $28 million for 32,500 patients; Evergreen Adult Day Care on Roosevelt Avenue took in $32 million for 57,500 patients and Sunrise Senior Service billed a whopping $45 million for 56,800 patients. None of these facilities have been accused of fraudulent behavior. However, corruption and kickbacks are the norm, according to those who work in the area.HHS data breaks down how much each center has been paid by Medicaid and how many people (beneficiaries) are represented by each one. Source: Medicaid spending.orgAccording to HHS data, Greater New York Social and Health billed Medicaid $28 million for 32,500 patients between 2018 and 2024. Matthew McDermott for NY Post“Seniors come in and ask, ‘Do you have any benefits for me?’” Kenny Chan, owner of a local pharmacy, told The Post, using the local euphemism for illegal kickbacks, where seniors get a small cut of the amount the pharmacy or SADC is billing back to Medicaid.“I say, no, we don’t do that here. I’ve lost so much business. I’ve had to pull money out of my own pocket to keep the business going.”To illustrate the point, Chan — who didn’t have a single customer during a 30-minute conversation with The Post — pointed down the street to another pharmacy he claimed was a fraud site. That tiny storefront was a hive of activity, packed with seniors and three or four workers bustling around with clipboards. Chan said there’s often a line down the block to get in.A daycare worker at Bao Kang named Wendy told The Post she did not know how many patients came to her facility, which appeared to be empty on a recent weekday afternoon. Matthew McDermott for NY PostBao Kang Adult Day Care on Blossom Avenue billed $31.8 million to Medicaid for serving 43,900 unique patients during a six-year period. Matthew McDermott for NY Post“The new pharmacies, the ones that have been here five or 10 years, they offer a lot of ‘benefits.’ About 60 or 70 percent of them have a connection with the daycare centers,” he said. “If I did that, I would be very busy.”For Chan, it’s not just local grannies who’ve pestered him about joining the hustle. He said daycare workers, other pharmacists and even doctors have approached him asking if he’d like to jump on the gravy train.“I want them out. I’m waiting for the day they get shut down. It’s not legal. It’s crazy,” he said.An investigation by The Post found seniors in a typical scheme get $500-$1000 a month in daycare kickbacks while the facility pockets upwards of $3,000 a month per patient.According to city and federal data, Flushing’s SADCs billed a total of $733M from 2018-2024, the latest year for which spending figures are available.Confusion about the role of SADCs and what they are there to provide is one of the reasons most people turn a blind eye to them.In February, feds charged two men with ripping off $120 million over 10 years from Medicaid in an alleged scam that used two SADCs in Flushing that they owned–Happy Life and Royal Adult. YelpWhile Flushing is home to one of the most elderly populations in the city, the concentration of SADCs is still eyebrow-raising. The neighborhood has a total population of about 250,000 people and 77 city-certified SADCs. Helayne SeidmanAs part of Medicaid’s Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) program, SADCs are intended to be exclusively for seniors with a “chronic illness or disability” who are “clinically-eligible” for “nursing home level of care,” or experience memory issues like Alzheimer’s disease or require “assistance with physical maneuvering [during] daily living,” such as to eat or bathing, according to the NYS Department of Health.A spokesperson for the NYC Department of the Aging further clarified, telling The Post: “There are important distinctions. [Senior center] membership is open to all New Yorkers ages 60 and older. [They] serve meals, and in-person and virtual activities are designed to meet the needs of their members. “SADC’s serve adults with functional impairments and need a higher level of care than [senior centers] can provide.”Earlier this year, The Post visited over a dozen SADCs and found a mix of happy, healthy seniors enjoying light entertainment and near-empty facilities claiming they served hundreds of patients a day. Emmy Park for NY PostThe bustling and vibrant immigrant enclave of Flushing, Queens, has 77 taxpayer-funded social adult daycare centers that have billed $733 million from Medicaid from 2018-2024.However, that was not the case for dozens of SADCs visited by The Post earlier this year, where the facilities were indistinguishable from city-run senior centers, which are not a part of Medicaid.Healthy, active seniors played ping-pong and mahjong, rode stationary bikes, and got lunch delivered from local restaurants — all on the taxpayers’ dime.SADC workers, patients and even local politicians who spoke to The Post were unaware of the difference between senior centers and daycares.“You come to Flushing, you cannot help but see a preponderance of older residents, older Asian residents. And with that concentration, for there to be only one senior center in downtown Flushing, that speaks to the lack of resources,” New York State Sen. Jon Liu told The Post. Matthew McDermottCenters for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz told The Post, “Due to a lack of proper state oversight, these centers have become cash cows for criminal syndicates, who use kickbacks and other illegal practices to steal millions from Medicaid.” via REUTERSNew York State Sen. John Liu, who represents Flushing, blamed a lack of city facilities in the district.“You come to Flushing, you cannot help but see a preponderance of older residents, older Asian residents. And with that concentration, for there to be only one senior center in downtown Flushing, that speaks to the lack of resources, which perhaps all these centers have sprung up in order to fill the void of,” he told The Post. “I think it would be misguided to paint all of these centers with the same brush and to paint Flushing as the epicenter of this kind of fraud, if it exists.”However, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz blasted New York officials for allowing fraud to fester, where the state’s $115 billion a year Medicaid spend is by far the highest per-person in the nation.“Due to a lack of proper state oversight, these centers have become cash cows for criminal syndicates, who use kickbacks and other illegal practices to steal millions from Medicaid. When Flushing, Queens, alone accounts for roughly 14% of all social adult daycare spending in New York state, it’s pretty obvious that these centers aren’t popping up solely to fulfill a legitimate need in the community,” he told The Post.

Pete Buttigieg's Bold 2028 Move: What Changed? New

Pete Buttigieg's Bold 2028 Move: What Changed?

Pete Buttigieg told podcast host Steven Bartlett on The Diary of a CEO that he is "more inclined than not" to run for president again in 2028, a notable shift from the more guarded answers he has given in the past. The former transportation secretary, who finished fifth in the 2020 Democratic primary before Joe Biden secured the nomination, said fatherhood has changed how he weighs the decision. He and his husband, Chasten Buttigieg, adopted twins in 2021."That's changed all of my equations," Buttigieg said. "It's just something that you really sit with and take seriously, which you should."He stopped short of committing. But six years after his surprise breakout in Iowa, early data suggests Buttigieg would enter a 2028 field as one of its strongest contenders, not a long shot. The Polling Points One WayButtigieg has topped or placed near the top of nearly every major 2028 Democratic primary survey released this year, though the timing of each poll matters as much as the result. A Manhattan Institute poll taken from July 1 to July 6 found him in third place with 13 percent support, behind former Vice President Kamala Harris at 19 percent and California Governor Gavin Newsom at 15 percent. An Emerson College survey conducted July 19 and 20 put him in first place with 19 percent, ahead of Newsom at 17 percent, along with New York U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Georgia U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff, who garnered 13 percent apiece. Harris trailed at 8 percent.A Public Sentiment Institute survey of Michigan voters, fielded July 25 to July 29, gave Buttigieg 24.2 percent, more than 10 points ahead of Ossoff. Harris drew just 5.1 percent, a steep drop from the 27 percent she held nationally as recently as June and the 33 percent she held in October.A University of New Hampshire Survey Center poll released in February found Buttigieg leading with 20 percent, narrowly ahead of Ocasio-Cortez and Newsom at 15 percent each. Buttigieg also had the highest favorability rating of any potential candidate tested, at 72 percent. Not every poll agrees with the trend line. A UC Berkeley Citrin Center-Politico survey of California voters, fielded February 25 to March 3, had Newsom leading Harris at home, 28 percent to 14 percent, with Buttigieg in fourth at 11 percent, behind Ocasio-Cortez at 12 percent. An earlier Manhattan Institute survey, fielded February 6 to 15, told a similar story nationally: Harris at 23 percent, Newsom at 20 percent and Buttigieg at just 8 percent, before his summer gains. The volatility reflects a field where, in one survey, 16 percent of voters said they remained unsure, and the first primary is still more than 17 months away.Prediction Markets Are Not as ConvincedIf polling shows Buttigieg surging, prediction markets have been slower to move. As of early August, Polymarket priced Newsom as the favorite for the Democratic nomination at 19 percent, followed by Ocasio-Cortez at 15 percent, Ossoff at 14 percent and Harris at 9 percent. Kalshi's market showed a similar order, with Newsom at 18 percent, Ossoff at 15 percent, Ocasio-Cortez at 14 percent and Harris at 9.5 percent.Buttigieg's own market odds have lagged behind his polling gains, hovering in the mid-single digits for much of the year even as he led individual surveys....Outsider or Establishment? Depends Who's AskingThat question sits at the center of Buttigieg's positioning in a primary shaping up around an anti-establishment mood inside the party. Ocasio-Cortez has drawn large crowds touring with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent, under a "Fighting Oligarchy" banner. Progressive candidate Graham Platner's win over Maine Governor Janet Mills, a Democrat, in a Senate primary and the rise of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)-aligned candidates in House races have strategists describing the moment as a leftward, anti-incumbent one.Buttigieg has tried to occupy both lanes at once. He praised then-New York City mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani's "capacity to be a great mayor" and called himself simply a "Buttigieg Democrat" when Fox News pressed him on whether he would disavow DSA positions like abolishing the Senate. At the same time, his 2020 identity as a small-town, Midwestern mayor taking on the Washington field still shapes how some Democratic strategists describe him."In 2028, the Democratic nominee has to be someone Washington didn't create and can't control," Republican strategist Colin Coley told The Hill, naming Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear as a better fit than establishment-tied figures.Others see Buttigieg differently now. Ettingermentum, a newsletter tracking the invisible primary, dropped him from its top 10 entirely this summer, arguing his "high-effort, low-impact shadow campaign" has struggled against the party's leftward drift. A Manhattan Institute poll found zero percent of Black respondents naming him as their choice, a gap one unnamed Democratic strategist told The Hill he is "clearly trying to fix."The 2020 PrecedentButtigieg’s early strength in 2028 echoes his 2020 rise. He entered that race as a 37-year-old mayor of a city of about 100,000 people, with no statewide or federal office experience and limited national recognition. He went on to win Iowa, narrowly finish second in New Hampshire behind Sanders, and build a national following before Biden’s South Carolina victory reshaped the contest. That history matters in his current standing. New Hampshire Institute of Politics Director Neil Levesque said voters there "focused in on him" once before and appear to be doing so again: "This state was just made for him." The memory of 2020 is part of why Democratic operatives are taking his early numbers seriously, even as prediction markets and other polling point to a crowded and unsettled field. The early data points to Buttigieg as a candidate with clear primary appeal, a significant challenge among Black voters and an unresolved question: whether Democrats in 2028 are looking for an outsider, an insider or someone who can credibly present himself as both.A key part of Buttigieg’s strategy has been frequent appearances on Fox News, where he has debated hosts over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids, the Iran war and Trump administration policies in a space many Democratic contenders avoid. Strategist Steve Schale said Buttigieg has a rare ability: "He can effectively indict the Trump presidency while still giving Democrats an aspirational vision for the future."Contact Newsweek editors on this story: Jason Lemon and Edward T. Shock Upset in Burger Wars: The Surprising New Champion New

Shock Upset in Burger Wars: The Surprising New Champion

California may have a reputation for sunshine, celebrities and impossible-to-afford real estate — but the Golden State’s true crown jewel might just be its burgers. And once again, one Santa Barbara-born chain is proving it doesn’t need a huge following or a trendy secret menu to take the throne. The burger battle has a repeat winner: Habit Burger & Grill’s Double Char reclaimed the top spot in USA Today’s annual ranking for the second year running, flipping past big-name rivals like Five Guys, Shake Shack and Cali’s cult favorite, In-N-Out.The victory marks a major upset in the never-ending West Coast burger wars. In-N-Out has long been the state’s reigning burger heavyweight — and for good reason. As The Post previously reported in 2025, the Animal-Style chain was crowned America’s best fast-food burger by Yelp, with its iconic Double-Double earning praise from legions of devoted fans. But Habit Burger & Grill has been quietly building its own burger empire. It previously landed just behind In-N-Out in Yelp’s ranking, with its signature Charburger — topped with caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo on a toasted bun — earning a spot among America’s most beloved fast-food burgers. Now, Habit has officially flipped the script. The winning burger earned USA Today’s top spot thanks to thousands of votes from readers and food experts, proving that the little flame-grilled contender can still out-sizzle the fast-food giants.Sorry, Double-Double fans. The burger battle has a new champ.Habit Burger & Grill’s flame-grilled Double Char is proving the Golden State’s fiercest crown jewel might just be its burgers — beating out In-N-Out, Shake Shack and Five Guys for the second year in a row.Their secret sauce? Keeping it simple. The Double Char stacks two flame-kissed beef patties with caramelized onions, crunchy lettuce, juicy tomato, pickles and mayo on a toasted bun — with the option to throw cheese into the mix for an even more decadent bite. But the secret ingredient isn’t just what’s on top — it’s what happens underneath.Unlike many fast-food competitors that rely on flat-top grills, Habit Burger & Grill has been cooking its patties over an open flame since opening its first location in 1969, giving its burgers the smoky flavor that has become its signature. The company’s roots go back to Goleta, California, near Santa Barbara, where the original Hamburger Habit opened as a small family-style burger stand. Brothers Brent and Bruce Reichard purchased the restaurant in 1980 and helped transform the local favorite into a national brand.Today, Habit Burger & Grill has more than 350 locations and remains known for its California-inspired menu — but the Double Char is the item that has officially stolen the spotlight. The chain has had plenty of bragging rights before, too. The Double Char’s winning formula is no secret recipe — just two juicy patties, classic toppings and a distinct char that Habit Burger & Grill has perfected since firing up its first grill in the late 60s. Habit Burger & GrillIn 2014, Habit was crowned America’s best burger chain by Consumer Reports, and the brand later underwent a refresh, rebranding as Habit Burger & Grill in 2024 after its acquisition by Yum! Brands. Now, it has another trophy for the trophy case.Habit Burger & Grill may have stolen the crown, but the rest of USA Today’s top 10 was a who’s who of fast-food favorites. In-N-Out’s iconic Double-Double came in second, followed by Freddy’s Original Double, A&W’s Papa Burger, Culver’s ButterBurger Cheese Double, Shake Shack’s SmokeShack, Five Guys’ Cheeseburger, Burger King’s Whopper, Wendy’s Son of Baconator and Whataburger’s Double Meat Whataburger. The ranking proved that while burger battles may never be settled, there’s a new patty on top.The Cali burger wars are heating up: In-N-Out had its moment when Yelp crowned the Double-Double America’s best in 2025, but Habit Burger & Grill stole the spotlight this year, reclaiming USA Today’s No. 1 spot with its Double Char. Jonathan Alcorn for CA PostWhile In-N-Out may still have its fiercely loyal fans, the new ranking suggests burger lovers are ready to look beyond the usual suspects.Because sometimes the best burger in America isn’t the one with the longest line — it’s the one with the perfect char.Download The California Post App, follow us on social, and subscribe to our newsletters California Post News: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, WhatsApp, LinkedInCalifornia Post Sports Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, XCalifornia Post Opinion California Post Newsletters: Sign up here!California Post App: Download here!Home delivery: Sign up here!Page Six Hollywood: Sign up here!

Amy Schumer's Unfiltered Bikini Photos: What She's Revealing About Her Transformation New

Amy Schumer's Unfiltered Bikini Photos: What She's Revealing About Her Transformation

Amy Schumer is embracing the final weeks of summer by celebrating her recent health transformation. The 45-year-old comedian recently posted a series of bikini photos on Instagram, displaying her physical progress while relaxing by the water. Wearing a colorful two-piece swimsuit, Schumer smiled for the camera and gave her followers a look into her recent vacation. "I never knew there would be days like this," she captioned the post. "No filter as per ushe." The social media update quickly gathered positive feedback from both her fans and celebrity friends. Actress Kate Walsh showed her support by commenting, "So beautiful, Amy. Happy and thriving." The post marks another moment where the actress has chosen to speak openly about her body image and health management. Finding the right medical balance Schumer has spent the last two years discussing the realities of her weight-loss experiences, sharing the positive results alongside the difficult side effects. In March 2025, she uploaded a video addressing her experience with the medication Mounjaro and detailing her past struggles with other injectables. "I wanted to share and keep it 100 with you, that years ago - and yes, this is completely unsafe to be driving and making a video - years ago, three years ago, I tried Wegovy and I was like puking," Schumer told her followers. She added that she eventually sought out alternative care options to see what would work for her body. "I couldn't handle it. I don't know if they've changed the formula or whatever… but anyway, I went on this telehealth meeting with MidiHealth, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself, cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are like nurses and teachers." In addition to navigating these treatments, she addressed her perimenopause symptoms by starting a new hormone routine. "They put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopause and my symptoms of being in perimenopause have disappeared," she noted. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the comedian explained how her genetic makeup caused severe reactions to certain popular weight-loss drugs. "I have this gene - GDF15 - which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why I was so sick during my pregnancy. So, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago and I was like bedridden, I was vomiting, and then you have no energy but other people take it, and they're all good," she stated. Although the physical changes happened rapidly, the toll on her daily life was too high. "I lost 30 pounds so quick," said Schumer, who is mom to four-year-old son Gene, whom she shares with ex-husband, Chris Fischer. "I looked great, and I couldn't lift my head off the pillow, so what's the point?" Beyond her weight-loss experiences, Schumer has routinely used her platform to bring attention to various women's health issues. In February 2024, she shared her Cushing syndrome diagnosis after observers noted changes in her face, later calling the medical discovery a blessing because it helped pinpoint the root cause of her symptoms. She has also spoken openly about her struggles with endometriosis and her 2021 hysterectomy, consistently using her public profile to normalize discussions about medical challenges. Chris Brown's Wild On-Stage Antics Leave Fans Shocked New

Chris Brown's Wild On-Stage Antics Leave Fans Shocked

A video of Chris Brown getting steamy with a fan on-stage has resulted in many making the same observation about the encounter. The US artist has been on tour with Usher as part of the R&B Tour across North America, and they have managed to make headlines along the way. Just two months into their 33-date tour, Usher has already caused controversy after bringing a female audience member up on stage last month to engage in a steamy moment, but it quickly turned awkward. In the exchange, a shirtless Usher sang to an unimpressed female fan, who remained stiff and gave him a tight smile. While Usher's attempt ended awkwardly , as he waved her off stage after she she refused to join him on an onstage bed, she even took to social media to reveal that she only went to see Brown. And during the duo's Saturday (August 1) performance at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, the 'Fine China' artist may have proved why she wanted to be up with him. Chris Brown's steamy exchange with a fan did the rounds on social media. Credit: X Viewers make the same comment The R&B artist usually invites a female audience member up during his shows to share an intimate moment during a rendition of his 2007 hit, 'Take You Down'. Brown had a fan's hands tied up against a pole, before moving her up and down the pole as he thrust towards her, before starting to kiss her neck, which brought on cheers from the crowd. She could be seen smiling and even moaning while he kissed her neck, before he started to lick the sweat off her arms and legs. A short clip of the exchange has generated over 8.3 million views, but viewers all noticed the same thing about Brown's heated segment. In the comments below a post of the video, one user said: "Concerts have turn into soft p*rn yoo," with someone else agreeing with the point: "So people pay to watch live action p*rnos? Others remembered Usher's awkward moment on stage, as a social media user wrote: "I see why that girl at the Usher show was p**sed she didn’t get Chris Brown looool," as another quipped: "That’s how that one girl thought her night was gonna be but got Usher lmaooooooooo." A fifth user didn't hold back, claiming: "People are literally getting f***ed on the f***ing stage bro." Chris Brown took the steamy performance even further. Credit: X / @savaty_ Chris Brown took it further While many were disgusted by the original video, an extended clip soon started to circulate online. It involved Brown bringing the woman to an on-stage bed, where they partook in more NSFW simulated activities for thousands in the crowd to see. The artist can be seen throwing the woman's legs back, before simulating oral sex and licking up to her chest and seemingly planting a kiss on her. He can then be seen thrusting towards her while her legs are back, again simulating sex. If the show organizers are trying to dispel claims being made by those online, they're not doing a very good job. Featured image credit: X
