She continued: "There's no way to feel good about that. Betrayal trauma literally rewires your brain to not trust people, to just feel disgusting because you're the last to know." Bunnie added: "Nobody ever wants to be the f**king last to know and when you are, it's a different kind of hate." Jelly Roll previously admitted he had been unfaithful early in their marriage during an appearance on the Human School Podcast in October 2025. Calling it "one of the worst moments of my adulthood," the singer said: "I wish our story would have went in the way that it never had an affair. And I'm in no way glad it happened, but man, I'm proud of who we are today." The couple filed for divorce in May, although news of the split did not become public until the following month. Initial reports suggested the separation had been mutual, but Bunnie later disputed that version of events on her podcast, claiming that it was her ex-husband who pushed for the divorce. The argument that prompted the divorce Recalling an argument that took place on Mother's Day, she explained: "On Mother's Day we had a little bit of an argument, which I don't think the details are necessary." She said the disagreement reached a breaking point, adding: "I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and I said, 'Well, then file the f**king divorce papers.'" Bunnie acknowledged that mentioning divorce had always been off-limits in their relationship. "And in our relationship that is the one cardinal thing that you don't say," she said, before adding: "Even though my husband has said it numerous times 'cause he's the runner." According to Bunnie, she left their home for around a week following the argument. She claimed Jelly Roll then followed through with her heated comment. "During that, he was so mad and we were so emotional that he ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers," she explained. Bunnie also rejected claims that the separation had been a joint decision. "Was I blindsided? And was this divorce mutual? No, it was not mutual," she said. Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday laid out 10 qualities he feels America should always possess, as "Our political system has collapsed into paralysis and looting." His remarks on The Tucker Carlson Show seemingly escalate his break with President Donald Trump, exposing tensions within the coalition that helped return Trump to the White House."It's been obvious for a while now that our system is not working as intended, because the people in charge of it seem to be looking out mostly, not exclusively, but mostly for their own interests," Carlson said. "So, it's one thing to have a system run by people who are looking out for their own best interest, and not yours, again, we've had that. It's another to have a system that's totally incapable of responding to reality. It is basically paralyzed," he later added, saying that the latter is the one plaguing America today.Carlson touched on what he labeled the two biggest threats in all of history, nuclear war and artificial intelligence, saying they are looming right in front of us all, and that those with authority are "frozen."He listed in extensive detail 10 traits America should have, while saying "change is coming." The virtues included a recommitment to fairness, sovereignty, being productive, having beauty, health, honesty, being optimistic, wise, showing decency and being united. Carlson also touched on immigration and having Americans speak English. "Different languages divide," he said. "If you were serious about holding your country together ... you'd be serious above all about making certain that everyone in your country spoke the same language.""Both parties have colluded against the population to make their lives better and our lives worse," he also said. In concluding his nearly two-hour segment, Carlson said, "So if you're going to fix it and rebuild this country and turn it into a place that the grandchildren you hopefully will have can inherit and thrive, you're going to need to do something about the pressing question of American identity. 'What does it mean to be an American?' But it's fixable, you just have to try, and we will be trying. And we'll tell you, as we continue to do that." The move comes 90 days before the November 3 midterm elections, with control of the House and Senate at stake.Carlson first signaled his plans to help build a third party in a July 1 interview with the Columbia Journalism Review, saying the country was operating as a "one-party state disguised as a democracy" and arguing that the political system needed to be disrupted."I'm going to help build a third party," Carlson said in the interview, adding that he did not intend to run for office himself.The split between Carlson and parts of the MAGA coalition reflects a broader tension within Trump's movement. Also in the image were her husband, conservative journalist Brian Glenn; U.S. Representative Thomas Massie, also a Republican, and his wife, Carolyn Moffa; and Joe Kent, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, and his wife, Heather Kent."We said no more foreign wars and we meant it," Greene, of Georgia, wrote alongside the photograph. She said Trump had betrayed his supporters and described the group's commitment as America First for Americans across the political spectrum. She closed the post by declaring that the movement had begun.The group did not announce a party name, an organizational structure or any legal filings at the time. In that poll, 47 percent of respondents said they did not approve of Trump.That marks a slight shift from August 2025, when 38 percent of respondents said they approved of Trump and his policies and 14 percent approved of just his policies; 45 percent said they disapproved of Trump at the time.McLaughlin & Associates' latest poll surveyed 1,000 general election voters from July 15-21.Rasmussen Reports, another pollster viewed as being more Republican, showed Trump underwater. It surveyed 1,000 registered voters from July 17-20.How Does That Compare to Independent Polls?Several major pollsters released surveys last month showing that Trump’s approval rating has fallen to a record low, raising red flags about his standing among independent voters and even parts of his base. A Quinnipiac University poll showed Trump’s approval at 32 percent—its lowest point from either of his terms. It surveyed 963 registered voters from July 23-27.A CNN poll also found a record low in Trump approval at 34 percent. It surveyed 1,225 respondents, also from July 23-27. A Caribbean volcano responsible for one of the deadliest eruptions in history has shown a spike in seismic activity, sparking concerns that it could potentially blow again.Situated on the Caribbean Island of Martinique, Mount Pelée erupted on May 7, 1902, sending a flow of hot gas, ash, and rocks through the nearby hub of Saint-Pierre, killing nearly 30,000 people in a single afternoon. This made it the third deadliest volcanic eruption of the 20th century. Getty ImagesWere Mount Pelée to erupt today, the resultant pyroclastic flows could reportedly put the 400,000 people who live on Martinique at risk while ashfalls could disrupt electricity and ground flights, per a 2021 study.While the volcano has been dormant since 1932, it showed signs of unrest with experts detecting 124 earthquakes between July 24 and July 31 — nearly three times the number picked up the week prior, per the Martinique Volcanological and Seismological Observatory.They reportedly recorded 331 volcanic earthquakes during the entire month, breaking down to roughly 85 per week. Although the earthquakes — none of which had a magnitude higher than 1 and weren’t felt by the population — don’t necessarily signal an imminent eruption.Meanwhile, since May, scientists have recorded several inches of ground movement per month at Mount Pelée’s summit, per the Martinique observatory.Experts have attributed these subterranean shifts to a deformation located approximately 0.6 miles below the summit that is causing it to inflate from within. Thankfully, the number has slowed slightly over the past four weeks, hopefully signaling that the pressure is easing.While these seismic overtures aren’t symptoms of a pending volcanic event, experts warn that we can’t breathe easy just yet.“The probability of eruptive activity in the short term remains low,” the Martinique Observatory declared. “However, considering the observations accumulated over the past months and years, an evolution of the situation in the medium term (weeks to months) cannot be excluded.They’ve currently toggled the alert level to “YELLOW,” signaling the need for vigilance.

Pugh sat down with Louis Theroux on his podcast to speak about what she had experienced so far in her acting career. She revealed that while she has featured in several sex scenes over the years, some were "completely inappropriate," upon reflection. Speaking to Theroux, she admitted: “I did a lot of my sex scenes before that was even a job,” much to his surprise. "I'm quite confident, I'm quite happy in my skin, and I've always been able to make sure that I'm heard," she explained. "That being said, even though I know that I felt that at the time, there are plenty of things that I remember where it was just completely inappropriate to have asked me to do that, to have directed me in that way." She did praise the introduction of intimacy coordinators into the entertainment industry too, adding: "My view is changing about it as well because I'm now having fantastic experiences with intimacy coordinators." Overall, she thinks it is a positive change, as they can add some background on the emotional and narrative context of a scene. “I was like, oh, this is what I’ve been missing, understanding the dance of intimacy as opposed to just shooting a sex scene,” Pugh added. Emmy Park for NY PostOne woman, Jesse, recounted having her first one night stand in New York City at age 22. The older man she was hooking up with got up, sat on his standing desk, and rode it up and down naked as she watched, baffled.Another young woman, CJ, recalled hooking up during lockdown with a “Japanese cocaine dealing skater boy with a lisp,” only to realize that she was actually in love with another member of her 28-person cooperative housing living set up. Disturbing new details have emerged in the deaths of four children in upstate New York, with investigators revealing that one of the victims appeared to realize she and her siblings were being poisoned shortly before they were all killed. Ten-year-old Gracelynn "Gracie" Harmon, her twin brother Gavin, 10, Hudson, 11, and Harper, 13, were found dead inside the Mechanicville apartment of their grandmother, Amy Steadman, in June. During a press conference on Tuesday, Mechanicville Police Chief William Rabbitt said Gavin died from "multiple sharp force injuries," while his three siblings showed signs they had been poisoned. Investigators say messages recovered during the investigation indicate Gracie became aware something was wrong. According to Chief Rabbitt, the 10-year-old confronted her mother and grandmother, writing: "Why would you do that? You both won't let me puke," as she complained about worsening stomach pain. Police said that later the same evening, Steadman messaged her daughter, saying: "Gracie is aware," before the pair allegedly continued discussing their plan. Authorities recovered electronic evidence, including text messages between Myers and Steadman, which investigators say outlined how they intended to obtain medication and kill the children in order to "protect them." Chief Rabbitt said investigators believe the motive was to prevent the children's father, Brady Harmon, from gaining custody of them. Myers had accused Brady of domestic violence, allegations he has denied. He has not been charged with any offence. According to investigators, Myers had hoped the children would be dead before a scheduled 6PM phone call with Brady on June 10. However, after a combination of prescription and over-the-counter medication allegedly failed to kill them, police say she texted her mother: "We need another option." Detectives also examined Myers' internet search history, which Chief Rabbitt said included "searches about medication reactions, the effects of insulin on non-diabetics and the Utah court system." He added that investigators also found searches including: "Where is the most fatal place to be stabbed." Police further revealed that Gavin suffered a defensive wound during the attack, which Rabbitt said indicated "that he attempted to protect himself during the attack." The final text exchange between Myers and Steadman reportedly took place at around 8:40 PM on June 10. About an hour later, surveillance footage captured Steadman visiting a nearby gas station before returning to the apartment. The bodies were not discovered until nearly two weeks later after a neighbor requested a third welfare check, having not seen the family for 13 days. Chief Rabbitt said officers did not enter the apartment during the first two welfare checks. By the time the family was found, the bodies had decomposed to such an extent that identifying the victims proved difficult. The investigation remains ongoing, with toxicology testing still pending. Authorities have indicated the results may never be released publicly because they fear disclosing specific details could encourage copycat crimes. Chief Rabbitt strongly rejected the suspects' apparent justification for the killings. "Amy Steadman and Sarah Myers consistently portrayed these murders as a way of protecting the children," he said. "Whatever they believed justified their actions, the deliberate murder of four children cannot be described as protection." Father reveals mother was being investigated by authorities In the aftermath of the tragedy, Brady Harmon revealed he had previously received multiple letters from Saratoga County Child Protective Services informing him that concerns had been raised about the children's living conditions. He told the Albany Times Union that the final letter stated Myers was being investigated for Munchausen by proxy, a form of child abuse in which a caregiver fabricates or deliberately causes illness in a child. According to Brady, a therapist concluded Myers had been negligent but determined the children were not in immediate danger. "Nothing happened after that," he said. He also described the condition of Myers' apartment when he later collected his children's belongings, claiming it was filled with cat urine and feces. The cat has since been rescued by the Mechanicville Housing Authority and rehomed. Brady said he does not know who originally contacted Child Protective Services but believes someone connected to the Mechanicville City School District may have raised concerns before Myers withdrew the children from school in 2024 to homeschool them. Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) are viewed more unfavorably than MAGA and President Donald Trump, but the most prominent Democratic socialist politicians are viewed more favorably, according to a Marquette Law School poll released on Wednesday.DSA-backed candidates surged in recent Democratic primaries, securing victories in places like New York City, Philadelphia and Denver. But many in the Democratic establishment are nervous about the momentum behind the DSA movement. They have raised concern that DSA candidates could become an albatross for the party and alienate independent voters ahead of the November midterm election as the party works to flip seats with the hope of gaining control of the House and Senate. The new poll released Wednesday sheds new light on how Americans view DSA candidates compared to MAGA.In a statement to Newsweek, White House spokesperson Allison Schuster wrote: “The Democrats’ full-blown embrace of socialism and communism is a mortal threat to American liberty. That marks a slight decline in favorability since April, when its net favorability stood at -28 points in Marquette’s polling.Among independent voters, 13 percent viewed DSA favorably, compared to 46 percent who viewed it unfavorably.Individual Democratic socialist candidates were viewed slightly less unfavorably, with 31 percent viewing them favorably and 53 percent unfavorably.Meanwhile, MAGA’s favorability stood at -26 points, with 35 percent viewing the conservative movement favorably and 61 percent unfavorably, according to the poll. Vermont independent Senator Bernie Sanders, for instance, is not a member of the DSA but identifies as a Democratic socialist.The poll divided respondents into two random samples: half were asked about their view of the organization, while the other half were asked about candidates.Despite poor views of DSA overall, some of its most prominent lawmakers are viewed less unfavorably than Trump and members of his administration, according to the poll, which broadly found all national politicians included in the survey underwater in terms of personal favorability.Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent and Democratic socialist, was viewed favorably by 45 percent of respondents and unfavorably by 47 percent. It found that 15 percent said they like political leaders who identify as Democratic socialists, compared to 36 percent who dislike them. Forty-six percent said they neither like nor dislike them.Fifty-five percent of respondents said they would not consider voting for a Democratic socialist, while 39 percent said they would consider it, according to the poll of 2,648 U.S. adults July 8-13.A Pew Research Center poll found that 17 percent of Americans like a political leader who identifies as a Democratic socialist, compared to 38 percent who dislike leaders who do so.DSA describes democratic socialism as a system "where ordinary people have a real voice in our workplaces, neighborhoods, and society.""We want a democracy that creates space for us all to flourish not just survive and answers the fundamental questions of our lives with the input of all. We want to collectively own the key economic drivers that dominate our lives, such as energy production and transportation. We want the multiracial working class united in solidarity instead of divided by fear," the DSA website reads.DSA members typically support progressive policies like single-payer healthcare and the Green New Deal.The key difference between democratic socialism and other forms of socialism is that democratic socialism maintains that any move toward a more socialist economy must happen through democratic institutions, civil liberties and competitive elections, not through centralized or authoritarian control.The philosophy supports a socially owned economy but believes it should be achieved through political democracy. It also emphasizes individual rights.Merriam-Webster defines democratic socialism as a “political movement calling for the establishment of a decentralized socialist economic system within a democratically run political system.” It defines socialism as “any of various egalitarian economic and political theories or movements advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.”It’s also different from communism, which is defined as a “totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production.”Democratic socialist-backed candidates have won in several key primaries this year. Incumbents like Ocasio-Cortez and Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan won primaries and are poised to be joined by other Democratic socialists in Congress after the November general election.In Michigan, DSA-backed Donavan McKinney defeated Representative Shri Thanedar in the Detroit-based 13th District on Tuesday, the latest victory for an insurgent challenger.In New York, DSA candidate Claire Valdez won an open seat held by Representative Nydia Velázquez, who has served in Congress since 1993 but is not seeking reelection. Darializa Avila Chevalier unseated Representative Adriano Espaillat in a rare instance in which an incumbent, particularly one who had not faced any major scandals, loses to an insurgent challenger.Chris Rabb, backed by the DSA, also won an open primary in a Philadelphia-based district.In Colorado, Democratic socialist Melat Kiros defeated Representative Diana DeGette in a Denver-based district.All four are likely to easily win their elections in November, as they are running in some of the most Democratic seats in the country.
